Hyperliquid AI agent: run Claude or ChatGPT as a trading agent from your own wallet
Most “AI trading agent” tutorials end with an API key pasted into a script and a custodial exchange. This one ends with your Claude or ChatGPT designing a strategy, reading its real backtest, and deploying a bot that trades from a wallet only you control, on Hyperliquid, with limits you wrote. Ten minutes, no code.
1 · Connect
Add https://finzon.ai/api/mcp/finzon as an MCP connector in Claude or ChatGPT and press Allow with your FinZon account. Exact steps per tool.
2 · Ask for market context
“Show me BTC 4h candles with EMA 20/50 and RSI, and the funding.” The AI calls the live tools; the data is Hyperliquid's at call time, never invented.
3 · Describe the strategy
“Design a bot on BTC 4h, long and short, 1,000 USD: enter on EMA 20/50 cross, exit on the opposite cross, 3% stop.” The tool returns the rules it understood and a reproducible, fee-inclusive backtest: return with period, trades, max drawdown, verification hash.
4 · Iterate
“Try a 5% stop.” “Only during New York hours.” “Add an EMA 200 daily filter.” Each variant gets its own backtest. Discard anything that depends on an odd parameter.
5 · Fund and set your limits
15 USDC or more on Arbitrum One. Pick capital and leverage; the tool tells you what each level moves and what move liquidates it. Your limits are the only limits.
6 · Deploy
“Follow this bot with 100 USD at 3x.” From then on the bot evaluates every candle from your wallet. Ask your AI any time: “How is my bot doing?”, “Pause it”, “Close the position.”
What the system guarantees, whatever the AI says
- Orders execute only after confirmation with the exact summary you saw.
- Stop and take profit on the wrong side of the price are rejected (they would close the position instantly on Hyperliquid).
- A stop beyond the real liquidation price is never placed; sizes below the exchange minimum are rejected.
- Leverage never exceeds the market maximum; the daily loss limit you set blocks new entries, never exits.
- The connector cannot withdraw. Withdrawals happen in the app with an email code.
What it does not guarantee
Profits. A backtest is history, and a bot executes rules that may stop working when the regime changes. Leverage multiplies losses and brings liquidation closer. Tokenized stocks trade outside market hours on an oracle price with wider spreads. Read the max drawdown before choosing leverage, and size positions so that a losing month is survivable.
FAQ
- Does the AI hold my funds?
- No. Funds stay in your own Hyperliquid address. FinZon trades with an agent key that has no withdrawal power, and your AI only calls tools; it never sees the private key.
- Who sets the limits?
- You do, always: markets, direction, leverage up to the market maximum, stop, position size, daily loss limit. There are no house presets. The system enforces what you set and Hyperliquid's own minimums.
- Can it trade stocks and gold too?
- Yes: tokenized US stocks (Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, up to 20x), gold, oil, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, EUR/USD and pre-IPO markets, all from the same USDC balance.
- What if the AI proposes something wrong?
- Every order needs confirmation with the summary you saw, stop/take on the wrong side are rejected, orders below the exchange minimum are rejected, and a stop beyond the liquidation price is never placed. Rules, not vibes.
- How much does it cost?
- The connector and the bots are free; you pay Hyperliquid's trading fee per order. Following someone else's public bot shares part of your profits with its author.
- Is there a Spanish version?
- Yes, with screenshots: the guide 'Agente de trading automático con ChatGPT Astra en 10 minutos'.
FinZon AI is not financial advice or asset management. Leveraged trading can liquidate the allocated capital.
